Privacy Policy
This is a practical product draft, not legal advice. Have a qualified lawyer review it before real users rely on it.
What the platform processes
Most PDF, image, and utility tools run in your browser. For those tools, the selected file is processed locally and is not uploaded to this application. Office conversions and other explicitly server-backed tools may send the file to the configured conversion service to produce the result.
Account information
If you create an account, we store your name, email address, password hash, role, subscription category, subscription dates, usage counters, payment records, and optional profile picture. Passwords are stored as hashes, not readable passwords. Payment transactions are retained so account and administrative records remain accurate.
Sessions and cookies
The platform uses a secure, HTTP-only session cookie to keep you signed in, protect forms with CSRF tokens, and remember access state. We do not use the session cookie to read the contents of files processed locally in your browser.
Third-party services
Paystack may process online payment details when enabled. The application may also use a configured conversion service for server-backed office or PDF conversions and an SMTP provider for account and support email. Their own privacy policies apply to information they receive.
Retention and requests
Contact support to ask about account information or request help with deletion. Some payment and security records may need to be retained for operational, fraud-prevention, or legal reasons.
Review before launch
This page should be reviewed by an actual lawyer for your jurisdiction, especially the payment, retention, international-transfer, and user-rights language.
